Tia + Jonah wedding

Sometimes I wonder how I have been so blessed with amazing couples who love me and capturing memories as much as I do! I am incredibly grateful! Tia + Jonah were an absolute dream to work with. They completely trusted me from the little details to our Bride + Groom epic portraits (keep scrolling there are so many....yes yes I am an overshooter! hahaha!!). I started the day at the Jephson Hotel in Toowong, where I met Tia's 'bride tribe'. They all made me feel so welcomed from the minute I walked in the door and I quickly worked out why Tia had these beautiful ladies by her side for her special day.
The reception was at Hillstone St Lucia in the leafy suburbs of St Lucia, has four reception spaces, two ceremony spaces and two welcoming areas, Hillstone has something from everyone and is worth a visit if you are looking a Brisbane Wedding Venue. Jonah's Dad, Andrew, performed the ceremony - how amazing is that!! It not every day you get the marry off your son! This wedding was full of so much love from both sides of the family - it was amazing to be apart of. After the ceremony we jumped in a golf cart with our amazing guide/waiter extraordinaire Ben (can't recommend Ben high enough - he looked after everyone including me all day with a massive smile and nothing was too much trouble) and set off to follow the sun or in this case the sunset. We were lucky the rain held off for us to capture that spectacular glow! From the stunning, eucalyptus tree portraits and golden sunset light, this day was a dream! And talk about making an entrance both the bridal party and the Bride + Groom, brought down the house!! Complete with bubble machines which were a massive hit with the little ones later on in the evening on the dance floor.
Tia + Jonah, I hope you’re enjoying your first few days as husband and wife! What a gift it is to call you friends and clients!!! Thank you for entrusting me with this big responsibility!!! Enjoy your day through my eyes!!
