Through The Looking Glass.
I am thrilled to announce I have made it through to the first shortlist in The Mono Awards 2021. My image "Through the Looking Glass" has made the first shortlist in the PEOPLE 2021 category which means it will receive, at a minimum, a commendation in the competition this year.
Winners, runners up and the top entries in each category will be announced online in September and will be published in Australian Photography (September 2021) and Capture (August/September/October 2021).

Judging is continuing and I will know the final result in September. I am over the moon. This image was with the most gorgeous family, the girls were just the sweetest and it was the very last photo I took. The tide had been high on the beach at The Spit, Main Beach on the Gold Coast due to the red moon, and had left a massive pool of water high up the beach. I saw the lights shining from the pier reflecting on the water as we walked up the beach to leave and I just couldn't resist asking the girls to do just a couple more photos. I am so pleased I did. What an honor to be the one to capture this beautiful family and a bonus to win an award from the session.
My fingers and toes are crossed for September!
